This policy explains what data our mobile game Tiny Time Trivia collects and how we use it when you play. We designed the app to collect only what we need for performance monitoring and product improvement. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

What we collect
We collect the following categories of data strictly to operate, secure, and improve Tiny Time Trivia:
a) App usage and diagnostics
Session events (e.g., screens viewed, taps, session start/stop)
Crash and error logs; performance metrics (frame rate, load times)
Feature usage (e.g., levels/modes opened), balancing and difficulty signals
b) Device and technical information
Device model, OS version, app version
Language, country/region (from device settings)
Anonymous, app-generated identifiers (e.g., installation ID, Unity player ID)
c) Account and progress (only if you choose to link an account)
Authentication status and account identifier (Apple/Google/email)
Gameplay progress and settings saved via Unity Cloud Save
Ownership/entitlement status for in-app purchases (we do not receive card numbers)
We do not collect precise location; we do not track for advertising; we do not access contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to share (e.g., your email and message content).

Why we collect it (lawful purposes)
We process the above data to:
Operate and secure the app (diagnostics, fraud/abuse prevention)
Measure performance and fix bugs
Improve design and balance (e.g., feature usage and progression funnels)
Preserve your progress across devices (when linked) via Cloud Save
Validate purchases and deliver content (via Unity IAP + Cloud Code)
Deliver configuration updates (e.g., tuning/balance) via Remote Config
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Legal bases (where applicable): our legitimate interests in running and improving the service; consent where required by platform or law (e.g., analytics toggles); and legal obligation where necessary. -
How long we keep it
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or aggregate it.
Crash/diagnostics: ≤ 12 months
Event analytics: ≤ 24 months (aggregated thereafter)
Cloud Save game progress: retained while your account/installation remains active and deleted upon verified request or account deletion (see §6) -
Sharing and third parties
We use service providers (“processors”) to help us run analytics, crash reporting, authentication, cloud save, remote configuration, purchase validation, and hosting. These providers process data only on our instructions and under contracts that protect your data. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their independent marketing or advertising.

Children’s privacy
Tiny Time Trivia is not directed to children and is intended for players above the applicable minimum age: 13+ (US and most regions), 15+ (Canada), 12+ (Australia). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us and we will delete it.
If we release a child-directed version, we will first implement appropriate parental consent mechanisms and update this policy accordingly. -
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your data, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
To exercise rights, contact us at privacy@thebrightblue.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You can also:
Use in-app Settings → Privacy to toggle analytics (if available)
Use Settings → Privacy → Delete my data to request deletion of Cloud Save progress (this will remove server-stored progress and may reset your game)
Uninstall the app to stop further collection on the device
California (CPRA). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those allowed by law.
EEA/UK (GDPR). The Bright Blue LLC is the controller. If we transfer data outside the EEA/UK, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). You may contact our EU/UK representative (if appointed) at privacy@thebrightblue.com. -
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we learn of a security incident affecting data we control, we will notify users and regulators as required. -
International transfers
If you use the app from outside the country where our servers are located, your data may be transferred internationally. We rely on approved transfer mechanisms and contracts where required by law. -
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our app or laws. We will post the updated policy in-app and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be announced via in-app notice. -
